Installing a Sway Bar & Wonderbar (Steering brace)...

When I bought my 145mph gauges and the serpentine setup, the seller also had a sway bar & wonderbar - nothing like a package deal!

Since my adjustable panhard rod & lca's were red, I thought that red powdercoating would be a nice touch...

Parts Used:
  • Stock 36mm swaybar from an IROC
  • Stock wonderbar from an IROC
  • Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings - 9.5173R GREASEABLE SWAY BAR BUSHING SET: 1-3/8"
  • Energy Suspension front sway bar end links - 9.8125RC PERFORMANCE SWAY BAR COMPLETE END LINK SET

  • The sway bar & wonderbar after coating...

    Removal...
    1) Raise vehicle, support appropriately - don't be stupid...
    2) Spray sway bar end links with PB Blaster or equivalent
    3) Remove end links
    4) Remove sway bar bushing bolts - try not to drop sway bar on your head!

Installation...two sets of hands is really helpful...
    1) Place new bushings on new sway bar
    2) Hold wonderbar in place
    3) Bolt sway bar bushings over the wonderbar
    4) Install new end links
    5) Grease bushings if appropriate
    6) Lower vehicle 7) Go find some corners & enjoy your better handling!

Thanks to Robert, Mike & Luis for all their help!!!
