Cross-Fire Gasket Information...

When I head to the parts store and try to ask them for the proper gaskets, I usually get a blank stare after the word "cross-fire"...so here's the numbers & pics...

Air Cleaner to Throttle Body gaskets - FELPRO 60535 - ~$2.00 for the set (or $7 each from ecklers...)

Throttle Body rebuild kit - AC DELCO 60535 - ~$XX.00

Throttle Body rebuild kit (Both in one package)- GP SORENSEN 96629 - $58.69 at partsamerica.com

Intake Manifold, plenum and throttle body base gaskets - FEL PRO MS91440 - ~$26.00

You can see this gasket set being installed here - Tech Article - Porting (hacking) a cross-fire manifold...

Recently, I was sick of spending $27 to get the plenum gasket so on the advice of others (thanks bill & ken) I tried (ultra, mega, stupendous, whatever) copper sealant. It worked great - I applied a bead around the intake surface (and around each bolt hole), then let it cure for 10 mins. I then carefully set the plenum top on it aligning the holes with a few bolts. I then waited 2 hours and torqued it down. Messy, but effective :)

This information & some pics came from various posts at the Cross-Fire Injection Vault forum...
If you have a cross-fire car, and aren't a member - What are you waiting for?!...
